Camp Counselor

Globe FC in Hamilton and Stoney Creek is looking for motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors that are engaging and high energy for our Full Day Summer Camp for children 4-11. Camp. Duration June 29-Sep 4

Globe FC has 2 Summer Camp locations providing a fun and recreation based soccer camp to children 4-11 years old. Our campers experience a variety of games and activities, including team games soccer related activities and daily afternoon swims. Campers are registered by week to our camps and our camps run from 8am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.

Camp Counsellors should feel comfortable working with children aged 4-11. Previous or current experience teaching and/or coaching is an asset, however not mandatory. Training will be provided to successful applicants prior to start of Summer Camp.

All applicants must:

· Be available and wanting to work for all 10 weeks of summer camp
· Be able to enter the swimming pool shallow end everyday with the campers
· Be motivated and have high energy throughout the day
· Follow curriculum as well as create new games for campers on a daily basis
· Be willing and able to maintain a high energy for the full 8hr duration of work

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject

Social Media Manager

We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates video cameras, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
• Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field productions.
• Computer edits video segments on a variety of digital formats.
• Completes trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in repair and upkeep of equipment.
• Maintains equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment.
• Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
• Records maintenance skills.
• Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment.

Sponsorship Officer

The Sponsorship Officer is responsible for sponsorship and fundraising opportunities for the club, its activities and events. The Sponsorship Officer is the main point of contact with current and potential sponsors within the local Hamilton region and the wider regional area, on behalf of Globe FC. The Sponsorship Officer will manage and oversee all matters relating to sponsorship at all levels of the club.

Objectives
The post-holder’s primary objective is to formulate sponsorship proposals and ensure the club’s sponsorship requirements are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To investigate sponsorship opportunities from the commercial business sector
• To liaise with the treasurer on financial planning for the club to ensure adequate funds are generated
• Formulate sponsorship proposals and ensure sponsorship requirements are met.
• To be responsible for engaging with sponsors
• To produce follow up literature to sponsors in the form of thank you letters, press coverage & club updates in order to encourage on going relationships
• Where necessary co-ordinate sub-committee, and volunteers to help seek sponsorship through personal contact.

Liaison With:

• All committee members and sub-committees in particular the Treasurer, plus any event organisers.
• Club members.
• Local companies and businesses.
• Youth Section Coaches and other internal staff.
